cricket news - India seal series with thrilling win

   India won the series by clinching 3rd ODI against England. India chased down the target of 299 set by England. The partnership between the Ajinkya Rahane and Gautam Gambhir took the game away from England. Gambhir's knock ( 59 off 60 balls ) gave good support to Rahane who made 91. After depart of  both Gambhir and Rahane it look like match was balanced but Indian captain M S Dhoni (35 off 31 )and Ravindra Jadeja (26 off 24 )are finished with a win.

      Earlier J Trott guided England to 298 by scoring unbeaten 98. He missed the opportunity to get 100. But credit goes to Kevin Pietersen ( 64 off 61 ) and Samit patel ( 70 off 43 ) who scored quickly. At the end it was belongs to India.

cricket news - Sachin is a trump card everywhere: Jonty Rhodes

         Former South African cricketer and currently Mumbai Indian's fielding coach Jonty Rhodes feels Sachin Tendulkar presence in the Indian squad will attract the audience to come and watch the match. He said the absence of the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and too much cricket, is the reason behind the low attendance of the spectaculars at the first two ODIs between India and England in Hyderabad and New Delhi, respectively.

cricket news - India's second victory over England

          R Vinaykumar led the bowling attack of India. He took 4 wickets giving away just 30 runs.This is his career best performance. He got the support from other bowlers. U Yadav did well on slow wicket pitch.

         India chased down the target of 238 set by England. By smashing his seventh one day international hundred in India's emphatic eight wicket win over England at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Monday, Kohli once again proved how he has become an integral part of Team India's success story over the last few years.
     
        Gambhir ( 84 off 90 ) played superb knock along with Kohli (112 off 98 ). Both players came to bat when India lost both opening batmans at the early stage of the Indian innings.
