cricket news- 3rd test between India and west indies ends in a draw

       India clinched the test series by 2-0 against West indies. Both Indian spinners Pragyan Ojha and R Ashwin plotted a west indies batting collapse as India came nearly pulling a 3rd test but at the end it was draw. Last day of the test match was sensational as it produced 16 wickets. R Ashwin got man of the match and as well as man of the series.

      After India conceded a lead of 108 runs, Pragyan ojha ( 6 for 47 ) and R Ashwin ( 4 for 34 ) bowled out West indies for 134 in their 2nd innings. And set a target of 243 off 64 overs on a flat pitch on 5th day.

      Resuming at the 4th day overnight score of 81 for 2, West indies completely lost their platform to score big on a 5th day at Wankhede Stadium Mumbai. West indies lost 8 wickets for just 53 runs before lunch of the 5th day.

  R Ashwin delighted on debut test series
      He got man of the series for his performance with bat and bowl. He took 22 wickets and made some runs. This is the right time to keep pushing limits he says in the Mumbai. He got 2 man of the match in this series, first one is on his debut test at Kotla pitch in New Delhi.
      He scored maiden test ton on the fourth day of the 3rd test. All the best for him in Australia. Finger crossed for India ....

Cricket news- India seal series against west indies

        India beat West indies in 2nd test on Thursday at Eden Gardens to take 2-0 lead in the ongoing series. India won by an innings and 15 runs. West indies, following on after being all out for 153, were dismissed for 463 in their second innings.

        West indies batsman Darren Bravo's sparkling century wasn't enough to avoid an innings defeat from India. West indies fought hardly in their second innings to avoid an innings defeat, but it was inevitable. Because India got huge first innings lead of 478 runs, as west indies bowled out for just 153 in their first innings in response to India's first innings score of 631 runs.

        Earlier India scored huge total of 631 for 7 in their first innings with the help of centuries from Rahul Dravid ( 119 ), M S Dhoni ( 144 ) and V V S Laxman ( 176 ). Gautam Gambhir ( 65 ), V Sehwag ( 38 ) and S Tendulkar ( 38 ) also made contribution to the team to get huge score.

        In response to India's mammoth total West indies bowled out for just 153. Pragyan Ojha took 4 wickets, U Yadav took 3 wickets and R Ashwin took 2 wickets. As a result of this India got huge 478 first innings lead and enforce the opponent to follow on.

        West indies batsmans struggled against spinners as we seen in first test also. They need to come up with   some tactics to face spinners.
        All the best for both teams for Mumbai test. Cricket fans are looking forward to Sachin Tendulkar's 100th international 100 in Mumbai. Finger crossed for Master Blaster's 100th century.......

Cricket news- Worst day for Australian cricket team


        Australia all out for just 47 runs in their 2nd innings against South Africa in cape town. The test match produces 23 wickets.It was a raining of wickets in cape town. At 21 for 9 Australia were still 5 runs short of the lowest total in test history, but last wicket partnership of 26 between Peter Siddle and Nathan Lyon  guided Australian team to 47. V D Philander took 5 for 15 in his debut test. Philander got good support from his counterpart D Steyn and Morkel.

       V Philander got Man of the match for his winning performance for South Africa.

      South Africa chased down the target of 236 set by Australia. South African captain Greame Smith and Hasim Amla both made centuries to secure win against Australia. Earlier Australia got first innings lead of 188 and was looking to secure easy win over South Africa. But South Africa utilized conditions well and bowled out Australia for just 47 in second innings.

       Earlier Australia made 284 in their first innings with the help of captain Michael Clark's 151 and bowled out South Africa for 96 to secure healthy lead of 188.

cricket news- Sachin Tendulkar crossed 15000 runs in test cricket

 S Tendulkar is the first to crossed 15000 runs in Test    
            Indian cricketer Sachin tendulkar completed another milestone as he crossed 15000 runs in test. He is the first man to do so. He holds the record of first man crossing 12k,13k and 14k runs in test cricket. He is the highest runs scorer and highest no of centuries in both format ODI and TEST.


FINGER CROSSED FOR SACHIN'S 100th INTERNATIONAL CENTURY
         Sachin Tendulkar needed one century to complete his and first man to reach 100th international century. Sachin holds the record of 51 centuries in test and 48 in ODI. All sachin fans are eager to see his 100th century. Sachin  scored unbeaten 33 on day 3. So lets hope he will get 100th ton tomorrow.

 R Ashwin delighted  on debut test 
        Ravichandran Ashwin took 6 for 47 in second innings of west indies to bowled out West indies for 180. This is debut test for Ashwin.

cricket news - M S DHONI COMPLETED ANOTHER MILESTONE

        Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday completed another milestone as he become the Indian wicketkeeper with highest number of dismissals in his kitty. He achieved this feet when he stumped out Kraigg Brathwaite. Pragyan Ojha who gave the opportunity to Dhoni to stumped out Kraigg Brathwaite and become Indian wicketkeeper with highest number of dismissals. He took 62 matches to achieve this milestone.
     
        M S Dhoni dismissed 199 in test carrier in that 173 are caught and 26 are stumpings.

        After Dhoni and Kirmani ( 198 victims from 88 matches ) Kiran more ( 130 from 49 matches ) and Nayan Mongia (107 from 47 ) are the other Indian wicket keepers to dismiss more then 100 in test cricket.

        Indian fans finger crossed for M S Dhoni to achieve wicketkeeper with highest number of dismissals in Test cricket as well as in ODI. Lets hope he will achieve this feet very soon.
