Cricket news- India seal series against west indies

India beat West indies in 2nd test on Thursday at Eden Gardens to take 2-0 lead in the ongoing series. India won by an innings and 15 runs. West indies, following on after being all out for 153, were dismissed for 463 in their second innings.

West indies batsman Darren Bravo's sparkling century wasn't enough to avoid an innings defeat from India. West indies fought hardly in their second innings to avoid an innings defeat, but it was inevitable. Because India got huge first innings lead of 478 runs, as west indies bowled out for just 153 in their first innings in response to India's first innings score of 631 runs.

        Earlier India scored huge total of 631 for 7 in their first innings with the help of centuries from Rahul Dravid ( 119 ), M S Dhoni ( 144 ) and V V S Laxman ( 176 ). Gautam Gambhir ( 65 ), V Sehwag ( 38 ) and S Tendulkar ( 38 ) also made contribution to the team to get huge score.

In response to India's mammoth total West indies bowled out for just 153. Pragyan Ojha took 4 wickets, U Yadav took 3 wickets and R Ashwin took 2 wickets. As a result of this India got huge 478 first innings lead and enforce the opponent to follow on.

West indies batsmans struggled against spinners as we seen in first test also. They need to come up with   some tactics to face spinners.
All the best for both teams for Mumbai test. Cricket fans are looking forward to Sachin Tendulkar's 100th international 100 in Mumbai. Finger crossed for Master Blaster's 100th century.......
