cricket news- 3rd test between India and west indies ends in a draw

India clinched the test series by 2-0 against West indies. Both Indian spinners Pragyan Ojha and R Ashwin plotted a west indies batting collapse as India came nearly pulling a 3rd test but at the end it was draw. Last day of the test match was sensational as it produced 16 wickets. R Ashwin got man of the match and as well as man of the series.

After India conceded a lead of 108 runs, Pragyan ojha ( 6 for 47 ) and R Ashwin ( 4 for 34 ) bowled out West indies for 134 in their 2nd innings. And set a target of 243 off 64 overs on a flat pitch on 5th day.

Resuming at the 4th day overnight score of 81 for 2, West indies completely lost their platform to score big on a 5th day at Wankhede Stadium Mumbai. West indies lost 8 wickets for just 53 runs before lunch of the 5th day.

R Ashwin delighted on debut test series
He got man of the series for his performance with bat and bowl. He took 22 wickets and made some runs. This is the right time to keep pushing limits he says in the Mumbai. He got 2 man of the match in this series, first one is on his debut test at Kotla pitch in New Delhi.
He scored maiden test ton on the fourth day of the 3rd test. All the best for him in Australia. Finger crossed for India ....
